The big question of price
The cost of dentures is made up of the dentist’s work and the production costs of the dental laboratory. Because every single order is unique, manual work is required. By moving this manual work to the Far East, production costs are reduced by up to 50 %. The total cost – and therefore the patient’s own contribution – falls accordingly. Asking costs nothing!
We also recommend obtaining several quotes and seeking additional independent advice from your health insurer. A great deal has changed since the health reform – to the patient’s advantage, too! The fixed allowance from the health insurer for dentures can only be used sensibly if you are well informed. Do that, and then make your own decision.
